Code of Conduct

By choosing to submit this court ordered volunteer application, you agree to comply with the following policies:

*The following charges prohibit you from being approved and able to volunteer at Food Bank of the Rockies as a court ordered volunteer:
- Theft
- Violence (assault, child abuse, harassment, menacing)
- Sex-related crimes (sexual harassment, prostitution, sexual assault, rape)
- Felonies
- Registered sex-offenders

*Court ordered volunteers must attend every shift they are registered for. If a court ordered volunteer can no longer attend a shift, they will unregister as soon as possible. If a court ordered volunteer cannot attend a shift on short notice, they will contact the Volunteer Relations Teams via email (volunteer@foodbankrockies.org) or phone (720.715.7729).

*If a court ordered volunteer misses 3 shifts in a row, they will be automatically unregistered from all upcoming volunteer shifts so we may guarantee we have enough volunteers for our projects. If this trend continues past 3 shifts, court ordered volunteers will be asked to not return to volunteer based on attendance record.

*Court ordered volunteers must be on time for their shift. If a court ordered volunteer must leave early, they must notify the Volunteer Relations Team so their hours may be adjusted. If a volunteer does not complete their shift without notifying the Volunteer Relations Team, they will not receive credit for that event. If a volunteer leaves a shift without notification more than once, they will be asked to complete their court ordered hours elsewhere.

*It is the court ordered volunteer’s responsibility to provide the proper paperwork to the Volunteer Relations Team and to their respective court. It is not Food Bank of the Rockies’ responsibility if a volunteer does not complete their hours before their deadline.

*Hour disputes must be addressed within the first week of completion. The volunteer is responsible for ensuring their hours and paperwork are completed correctly.

*Volunteers will not misuse Food Bank of the Rockies’ product (donated food, warehouse equipment and attire). If a volunteer needs food assistance, the front desk can help direct them to additional resources: https://www.foodbankrockies.org/find-food/

*Food Bank of the Rockies may dismiss a volunteer for any reason, at their discretion.
